  • Biography: Kate has been a resident in the Cowichan Valley for the past twenty five years when she moved to Samsum Narrows and fell in love with the community and landscapes. Kate has been involved in a wide range of community based activities from recycling to farm maps in her volunteer life. At work, Kate is a environmental and natural resource planner currently working for the CVRD where she is the Manager of Environmental Policy.
