This Sunday the Cowichan Green Community is launching our first ever Tour De Farms! – a guided bike tour of some of Cobble Hill’s local food producers. A zero carbon event!  En route there will be opportunity to visit a handful of farms, all of which have farm gate sales to purchase their farm wares.  “Nothing works up your appetite like going for a bike ride, and nothing feeds your hunger like fresh local food” – John Milne, Cowichan Green Community Food Security Mapping Supervisor.  Exercise your legs, pick up some culinary lavender jelly, heritage veggies, a bottle of local wine, and learn about local food culture.
