Past and Present

There are several workshops coming up this fall and winter of 2008. They will have to do with Food Security and a Community Food Charter. Please bookmark this site and come back soon, or contact us to have you put on our email list.

On September 14th, 2008, CGC held its first ever Fall Harvest and Sustainability Festival at Providence Farm. Over 400 people came out on a fabulous sunny, fall day to listen to amazing entertainment, sample great food, and visit the over 40 exhibitors. There were 17 homemade pies entered into the Pie Baking Contest. Over 200 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Basket Society and over $2,200 was raised to benefit CGC and the work we're doing in the Valley. This will be an annual event, so look for it again next year. Hope to see you there
