ecoENERGY Grants for Homeowners from Natural Resources Canada
Access expert home energy assessments, customized retrofit plans and up to $5000 in energy-related rebates, depending on the retrofits your choose to complete. Certified through Natural Resources Canada, Energy Advisors use a blower door fan test and diagnostic software to assess and rate your home’s total energy efficiency. The “house as a system” analysis of your home includes the windows, doors, heating system, ventilation, insulation and air leakage. Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors
CAHPI(BC) is a self-regulating association of professional home and property inspectors, representing all regions of British Columbia. They are committed to protecting consumers through their stringent membership requirements, mandatory ongoing training programs, and detailed Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. CAHPI(BC) is presently seeking regulatory control of the home inspection industry through the Province of British Columbia, so that consumers can be better assured of inspector qualifications.

BC Sustainable Energy Association
The BC Sustainable Energy Association was founded in the fall of 2003. They have grown steadily since then, and now have eight active chapters and 700 members across BC. From their Sustainable Energy Now! exhibit at the Royal Victoria Museum to the 2007 and 2008 Kamloops Energy Fairs to the Greatest Show On Earth event in Vancouver, they have connected with enthusiastic crowds, eager to learn about sustainable energy and become engaged.
