Warmland Community Garden

Warmland House Community Garden is an initiative that brings together residents of the Warmland House residence and the surrounding community to grow food from individual and community plots, as well as with urban fruit trees. Beginning in the Spring of 2010, this garden will provide a good source for fresh and local food and fruit, as well as medicinal gardens in the community's own backyard! This garden is located in the backyard of the Warmland House at 2579 Lewis St. and can be accessed off of Beverly Street.

Check out an Interview of Jason Greenwood while he was working on the Warmland House Community Garden.

A before shot, there isn't much to work with, just gravel.

A close up of the material at the warmland house, most plants would have a hard time growing in this

Luckily we found a source of sandbags to help make the gardens

Over the Christmas many volunteers helped out and moved the sandbags
